Beautiful piece, especially appreciated this line, "This is not about using our cycles as an excuse or a limitation. It’s about understanding our unique rhythm so we can move with life rather than against it." I love the way you weave between the archetypes of each phase and what women truly experience (and should tap into!) along the way. I've noticed that when I'm more in tune with my body and its cycles, I become connected, intuitive, and happier as a result 🥰

It’s both a relief and also quite overwhelming to really step into this wisdom - overwhelming to realise what we’ve missed out on by being separate from our cycles until now.

yes totally, it's crazy to think I and so many others didn't even experience the wisdom of their cycle due to birth control for decades and actually think its a good thing.

i’ve tried over and over to find a planet or majestic orb that is synced to my body like the moon to Woman..and zero luck. zero. Even my daughter couldn’t find one and she’s tech savvy!!!

i tip my hat to the lunar/Woman sync.

Ahh, I love this and your search for a celestial body that syncs with you is such a beautiful gesture of reverence. The moon and woman have long danced together in mystery, their rhythms woven through tides, blood, and emotion. It’s easy to feel that bond, that pull, that poetry.

I think that men do have a planetary counterpart, the sun is your mirror. The masculine cycle isn’t monthly, but daily. As the sun rises, so too does testosterone, energy builds, focus sharpens, motivation peaks. By evening, the light softens and so do your hormones, inviting rest and restoration. Every dawn, a reset. Every dusk, a return.

Just as the moon holds space for women’s inner tides, the sun charts the rhythm of the masculine, bold, luminous, consistent, pulsing with fire and purpose.

So perhaps the sync you’ve been searching for isn’t hidden. It’s the one you wake up to every morning. ☀️

yes! love all this. except I'd say Dark Moon is Winter and Earth element (not fire). And new moon is more like Spring and Maiden energy.. I wouldn't put new moon energy with elderhood personally...I'd say dark moon is death. and descent. new moon is rebirth. and ascent. we are leaning deep into this dark moon energy in my Sisters of the Dark Moon community here. the void. the emptiness. the dark goddess. the depths....it's soooooo gooood 🌑 (just found you on here by the way! hiii) xxx

Thank you for sharing this wisdom ✨ I feel these words deeply: “Now, I cherish my cycle as one of the most beautiful aspects of being a woman. It is a reminder that I am part of something much larger, a cosmic dance that links me to the moon, the tides, and the changing seasons”

I recently wrote a piece on cyclical living as well, and love learning the many perspectives on it. This is a beautiful take 💛

I totally agree! Thanks for sharing this knowledge and perspective. On International Women’s day I launched Period Postcards to celebrate the beauty of women and our cyclical nature. This was my accompanying text: "Since the beginning of modern time, men have gazed through telescopes into space or peered through microscopes at the tiniest details, searching for signs of life. Meanwhile, the female body remains largely overlooked—women disproportionately suffer from medical neglect—and is often controlled or hidden by religious and societal norms. Yet it is women who create life itself. Every month, we are reminded of this, visible to the naked eye, in the toilet bowl. Not something impure, but a force. Not a source of shame, but something to be proud of. A sign of our deep connection to nature." I am super happy more and more women are realigning with their nature and inner (womb) wisdom. Because I truly think that in order to balance this highly technological and male-dominated era, we need the female perspective and the reminder of our interconnectedness with nature, more than ever! Thank you for this Rosie.

It was a beautiful and powerful insight into the deeper mind and soul of women.

While men may not be able to, or be needed to understand all of this, by women - they certainly should understand that these deeper and more complex Archetypes exist and are valid, because she says they are - they certainly should open space and understanding to honor these truths and her realities.

I love this so much! There's got to be a revolution in the air because I just started a piece on this exact concept, except I call the sacred feminine archetypes: Maiden, Mother, Mystic, and Matriarch. Can't wait to hear more from you!
